- First of all, thanks again for checking in and partaking of the fare. You're never quite sure what you'll be sampling ... but we strive to always provide a decent portion of the truth.
- Second, if you look over there on the right ... you'll see a facebook button (with a guy hanging himself with his necktie - that'd be me). By clicking on it, you will of course be transported to DMG's facebook page.
And when you are there, you will find even more content fare posted (and not all found here ...).
So, tell your friends and neighbors that they too can find a quick shot of DMG on facebook. And be sure to friend DMG there!
Misery loves company!!!
Thanks - the mgt.

Dear Mgmt,
I sent you a friend request a million years ago - but you havent accepted.
Thanks,
Von Kama
Oh great, at last, dmg shows his true colors.
It's not that he's against the use of data to drive advertising solutions.
It's not that he thinks there's nothing good about the interwebs besides his own blogging.
I guess he just hates Sergy and company too much to deal with them, so he's going to give Mark Zuckenstein a try.
"Hey, loyal readers, how about if you log into facebook and read my stuff there instead of here? After all, you won't mind if facebook grabs all your data so we can throw ads at you all over the place, will you?"
They might even give dmg a free Nielsen study to show that he's got a bunch of readers from Melvindale who hate salt mine imagery when people talk about going to work, and most of them don't actually have college degrees, and some of them are actually somebody's dog and all that great stuff the Nielsen can tell by reading through the cookie trails left by all the Hansels and Gretel Red Riding Hoods who prance through facebook to read dmg's postings there instead of on the real internet where we're free to post our replies and interact with everyone from dmg himself to Trawanda Smith or whatever and we don't all have to sign over our left arms to Mark Zuckenstein in order to be able to read it there on facebook.
What's next, Myspace for dmg? Rupert Murdoch might like to have all your traffic there too so he can make the site big enough to sell off before it's completely gone.
Good grief, dmg, take off the training wheels; act like a grownup and use the real internet. It's not like you're still paying $20 a month to AOL because you can't figure out how to get them to cancel your account, right? You probably got it all comped anyway.
bah.
Maybe DMG is just trying to give the local Facebook cognoscenti some love or maybe he's trying to get the local Facebook sales staff to stand up and pay attention instead of sitting on their asses and collecting on those fat ass stock options.
Hey look, FB can sell the shit out of hyper-targeted ads that don't do much (well a 3-5% CTR) oh and that'll be a minimum $1MM spend. Thanks.
I'll be at Oakland Hills, call my clamshell phone if you need me and damn it, FAXES ONLY, I don't do email.
@Gyro - love your post baby. @DMG, Gyro's right stick to Sergy and Co [or just don't forget about us over here on the GoogleWebs].
@von kama - lost to the ages. You can try again and pretty sure I will get it this time.
@gyro - had to know this would rile you up ... you only have room in that bonnet of yours for one idea ... thats "Google" ... but,
@gyro and Trey K - fear not. I am not abandoning Blogger (aka Google) ... I am just looking to expand the DMG audience (by making these posts accessible on facebook)... since there's not that many of you kucklheads that will read me here.
You can't fault a writer fo trying to gain a readership now ... can ya?
Hi DMG ;) – my fiancĂ© and I have a dog that is wearing on our patience as he is incredibly destructive and does not deal well with being kenneled. He has actually broken out of two steel kennels – the ones with the thin bars of metal.
I’ve heard so many things about muzzles and my main question is – is it ok to leave a muzzle on him during the day while we’re both at work?? I don’t want to traumatize or stress him out at all, so that worries me, but we are running out of solutions for this problem.
Any advice or guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated – I’m determined not to give up on this dog!!
Look out Scooby Snack. I used to get good dog advice hear too, but last time I asked for it, this dmg guy didn't like it so he made us all promise not to ask about dogs here any more, so I go to the getdogadviceatthisblog instead.
Its something like that but I don't remember for sure but don't get this dmg guy mad at you or he'll stop us all from asking questions again.
Sometimes he gets all huffy like he owns the place or something.
That facebook has good dog stuff too.
So who else is completely unsurprised that dmg has abandoned this blog for the travesty that is facebook?
It seems there was little real understanding of the nature of facebook incorporated in his decision to migrate there.
While we can easily monitor this blog via RSS or Atom feeds (a one-time action to create), facebook requires repeated actions to find similar information.
Clearly that's a great way to drift into the oblivion of farmville and its ilk.
Folly. Sheer folly.
Bah.
There was hardly ever anything worth reading here other than the comments, and with dmg selling his soul to the privacy cesspool that is facebook it's hardly worth checking in here any more.
You think google's bad, dmg? Wait until facebook alters your privacy settings a few times for you.
Don't kids have any brains any more?
